Residential design is seldom acknowledged as a legitimate area of structural engineering practice. All too often, engineers say things like “we don’t do homes”.

At Ansary, we believe that homes are in fact the most challenging structures of all, both behaviourally and in terms of the limited amount of resources available when compared with commercial projects.

Interestingly, most early impressions of what architects and engineers do concerns housing. We are design leaders in the area of residential engineering and we enjoy the challenge of this specialty area of design.
